Choreography (ages: 13 and up)

Join a guided session where students learn and practice a specific set of movements, steps and sequences set to the latest and trendiest tracks. Instructors break down the choreography, teaching each element step by step, focusing on technique, coordination and expression. Students then rehearse and refine the dance routine, honing their skills and embodying the artistic vision of the choreographer while adding their own flair.

Hip Hop Foundation (ages: 13 and up)
Junior Hip Hop Foundation (ages: 7-12)

A solid foundation in hip-hop basics is crucial as it forms the backbone of expressive movement. It instills proper technique, rhythm, and understanding of fundamental styles. This proficiency not only builds versatility but also enhances creativity and ability to navigate and innovate within the dynamic and evolving realm of hip-hop dance.

Kids Entry Level (ages: 4-6)

These classes aim to make dance enjoyable and accessible for younger children, fostering creativity, coordination and self-expression. The emphasis is on building a positive relationship with movement, developing basic dance skills, and encouraging a love for dance in a fun and supportive environment.

Breaking

Breakdancing includes moves such as toprock (standing moves), footwork (ground moves), freezes (poses), and power moves (acrobatic and dynamic movements). Students will learn these foundational elements, improve their strength and flexibility and develop their personal style within the cultural and expressive context of breakdance. Students who learn breaking at Unity are grouped according to two age groups: between 7 to 12; and ages 13 and above.

Female K-Pop

Learn and practice dance routines from popular K-pop songs. Instructors break down the choreography step by step, emphasising precise movements, synchronisation and performance style associated with K-pop idols. These classes cater mainly to female students who enjoy K-pop culture and seek a fun and energetic way to exercise and express themselves through dance. K-Pop lessons at Unity Dance Academy are grouped according to two age groups: between 7 to 12; and ages 13 and above.
